We begin the season of Lent in the church year. During Lent the church changes from the color green to the color purple.
Lent is a time the church gets ready to celebrate the mystery of Easter. There are six Sundays in Lent for getting ready.
Lent is a journey…… From the wilderness to Jerusalem to Golgotha. From self -serving to self-giving. From holding on to
Life and its possessions to letting go. From death to life.
